I have been using MS Word since middle school for assignments such as writing essays. However, in my junior year of high school I started using Google Docs for everything because I started to do more assignments that required me to use a word processing software and I found Docs to be easier for me. It also helps that I have a Chromebook, so Docs is the main software that I would use on my laptop. I think that Docs is more simple than Word and I like the layout of it more. Because of this, I am a little rusty with MS Word as I have not really used it in over a year. I think the standard that is the most meaningful to me is "leader". In my own experience, the role of educators is to lead their students in learning and to be a role model for them. I know that a lot of my teachers are people that I looked up to and who I wanted to be like when I grew up.
